Azure Weekly

Issue #254 - 8th December 2019

This week, we've been told about the Extended filesystem programming capabilities in Azure Data Lake Storage, meaning you can now perform filesystem operations for ADLS in .NET, Python, Java, PowerShell or the Azure CLI - this is going to be very handy! We've also been told about the Application Gateway Ingress Controller for Azure Kubernetes Service, and the latest version of Visual Studio 2019 (16.4) has been released.

A couple of videos for you this week: Scott Schaab has taken us through the Azure.Identity SDK with Cecil Phillip, and Robert Green has been joined by Jeffrey Mew to talk about Jupyter Notebooks in Visual Studio Code.

Finally, Carmel has announced that she and Jess are Speaking at NDC London: Combatting illegal fishing with Machine Learning and Azure. Take our word for it - this session is a must see, so keep an eye open for it if you're heading to the conference!
