Azure Weekly

Issue #264 - 1st March 2020

There have been a couple of announcements this week from the Azure updates team: Active Directory authentication support on Azure Files is now in preview and you can now drill into the costs for your resources!

The retirement of a few different services has been announced:

We've had an exciting week here at endjin as Carmel (@Carmel_Eve) and Jess (@JessPanni) presented at Azure Oxford! If you missed out, fear not, as a recording of their NDC London session on the same topic is now available.

And on the endjin blog, James has written a great post about Azure Analysis Services on How to query all the measures in a model from .NET, and Jon (@jon_george1 discusses Exposing legacy batch processing code online using Azure Durable Functions, API Management and Kubernetes.

We have some very big announcements next week around exciting work we've been doing in the Cloud Native space for the last 8 months. I can't wait to share what we've been working on. It's really very cool.
