Issue #368 - 24th April 2022

It's a bumper issue as I was on holiday last week. One of the biggest announcements over the last two weeks is the rebranding of Azure Purview to Microsoft Purview; this makes sense as Purview spans O365 / M365 / Azure / other cloud providers / SaaS platforms and the multitude of technologies that modern organisations adopt.

I was very pleased to see that there is now a Azure Managed Grafana offering now in preview, a number of our customers use Grafana, but have to manage their own instance. You may also be interested in enabling Full-stack Observability with Azure Monitor and Grafana.

Azure Container Apps continues the march towards GA with a number of useful features released in private preview: Managed Identities and Health probes support in Azure Container Apps, along with improved developer tooling experiences for Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.

On the Identity front, there are two interesting articles: Azure AD RBAC: Dynamic administrative units now in public preview for users & devices and Implement Azure AD Continuous Access Evaluation in an ASP.NET Core Razor Page app using a Web API.
