As July ends the Web Apps & App Service, Azure Rights Management and Stream Analytics teams provide updates on the new features they have released.
Two interesting articles about SQL Azure security; Mark Brown takes a look at dynamic data masking, and Jack Richins covers issues some customers are experiencing with Transparent Data Encryption.
We at endjin, have been working on a proof of concept focused on securing data at rest in Azure using a combination of Azure AD, Key Vault and SQL Azure (v12) - a very interesting and complex topic. Look out for blog posts about this in the next few weeks.
This week we published a couple of posts on Big Compute on Azure Batch and using Azure Resource Manager and PowerShell DSC to provision a Virtual Machine.
